Lybbi Epperson, DVM

Dr. Lybbi Epperson grew up on her family’s farm in Northeast Alabama. This, along with showing livestock and a true love of animals, led her to choose a career in veterinary medicine. After following her dreams of living out west and competing on a collegiate livestock judging team at Connors State College, she returned to Auburn University to complete her degree in Animal Science. Dr. Epperson graduated from the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving her DVM in May of 2010. For the next four years, she worked at an all-inclusive mixed animal practice in her hometown, where her patients ranged from hairless rats to horses!

Lybbi is excited to call Opelika home and loves serving the patients of Opelika Animal Hospital. She resides just outside of town on a farm with her husband Blake, son Walton, dogs Oliver and Shotgun, and a herd of Boer Goats that Walton shows at local and national livestock events.
